Elburn's Eddie Gaedel Pub and Grill temporarily closed

ELBURN – Eddie Gaedel Pub and Grill in downtown Elburn remains closed today to undergo deep cleaning and sanitization. Employees are also undergoing health checks.

According to a post on the pub's Facebook page, the pub decided to temporarily close because staff is "listening to people's concerns." There was no report of a positive COVID case among staff members.

The pub is expected to reopen on Wednesday, and all employees will be required to wear masks. Customers will also be required to wear masks until seated at their table.
