DUI charge
Sandwich police arrested Hannah DeGryse, 27, of South Elgin at 1:15 a.m. Aug. 13 on a charge of driving under the influence. Police also cited DeGryse for improper lane use. Police said the suspect posted bond and was released pending an appearance Sept. 9 at the DeKalb County Courthouse in Sycamore.

Sandwich police arrested Andrew Engel, 19, of Mendota at 10:01 p.m. Aug. 4 on a charge of driving under the influence. Police said Engel also was cited for improper lane use and driving too fast for conditions. Police said the suspect posted bond and was released pending a Sept. 2 appearance at the DeKalb County Courthouse in Sycamore.
Vehicle damage charge
Sandwich police arrested Jesus Flores, 41, of the Plano at 9:29 p.m. Aug. 8 on a charge of criminal damage to a vehicle. Police said Flores posted bond and was released pending an Aug. 25 appearance at the DeKalb County Courthouse in Sycamore.
