Morris man posted nude photos of wife on Snapchat: records

Man posted the photos in retaliation over argument, divorce: reports

A Morris man has been charged with retaliating against his wife by posting a nude photo of her on Snapchat, according to police and records.

On May 7, Shorewood police officers were contacted by the wife of Dakota Lenzie, 27, of the 500 block of West Mor Road, after she claimed he posted a “naked photo of her on Snapchat in retaliation for an argument and divorce filed,” according to police reports obtained by The Herald-News.

Following an investigation of the incident by a Shorewood police detective, Will County Assistant State’s Attorney Frank Byers and Judge Dan Kennedy reviewed the case, police reports said.

Kennedy agreed to sign an arrest warrant on July 13 for Lenzie that carried a $15,000 bond, the police reports said.

Lenzie has not been arrested yet.

The arrest warrant said Lenzie is 5-foot-9, 145 pounds, and has brown hair and brown eyes. The warrant said Lenzie has tattoos on his back and right shoulder and that he works for the industrial painting company Maxcor at 900 Country Creek Drive in New Lenox.

On June 4, 2019, Lenzie was charged with possession of a controlled substance and manufacture and delivery of ketamine, according to court records. He has pleaded not guilty to the charges.

On June 21, 2017, prosecutors agreed to drop several drug charges against Lenzie in exchange for his plea of guilty to driving under the influence in another case, court records show.

He was sentenced to a year of court supervision but a judge revoked it on June 20, 2018, court records show.
