Princeton man sentenced to 23 years on child porn, sex charges

Repeat offender enters guilty plea

PRINCETON — A repeat sex offender is headed to prison after pleading guilty Wednesday to multiple charges.

Nicholas S. Bouslog, 39, of Princeton was sentenced to 23 years in prison for Class X felony child pornography and seven years for Class 2 felony aggravated criminal sexual abuse.

Bouslog's charges stemmed from a December investigation in which police discovered images of child pornography viewed and disseminated by Bouslog.

Additional charges were filed against Bouslog after it was learned during further investigation that he had touched the breasts of an 11-year-old female in May 2019.

Bouslog, a registered sex offender, has previous convictions for grooming in 2012 and for having sex with a person three or more years younger than he in 2002 in California.

Assistant State's Attorney Thomas Briddick, who prosecuted the case in Bureau County Circuit Court, said Bouslog's sentences are to run concurrently; the charges make him eligible for day-to-day credit. He could get out in 11 1/2 years.

Bouslog was represented by Public Defender Ray Nolasco.
