Oswego School District 308 seeks nominees for Alumni Hall of Distinction

Oswego School District 308 is seeking nominees for the Alumni Hall of Distinction for the 2020 induction.

The honor highlights district alumni who have distinguished themselves beyond their high school years through significant accomplishments and/or service to others.

Nominees should be graduates of Oswego High School or Oswego East High School, at least 10 years prior to the nomination; the time requirement may be waived for military service nominees. The Alumni Hall of Distinction features individuals who have made a profound and positive international, national, regional or local impact on their chosen field or community. Posthumous nominations are accepted.

Past inductees include Illinois Supreme Court Justice Rita (Bell) Garman, OHS Class of 1961; and Jet Propulsion Laboratory for NASA Navigation Engineer Neil Motinger, OHS Class of 1962. Garman and Motinger were inducted in 2011.

A special event celebrating the inductees to the Alumni Hall of Distinction will be held on Friday, April 17 at Whitetail Ridge Golf Club in Yorkville.
