Harcar-Govednik Wedding

Olivia Harcar of Streator and Mark Govednik of Ottawa were married November 2, 2019 at 1:00 pm at St. Micheal the Archangel Parish with Father Ryan Mattingly officiating. A Reception followed at the Knights of Columbus in Ottawa. Matron of honor for her sister was Erin Spaniol. Bridesmaids were Madison Harms and Molly Baggett, cousins of the bride, Janelle Pflibsen and Lindsay Schmitz, friends of the bride. Best man for his brother was Scott Govednik.Groomsmen were Connor Finley, John Whalen, Kyle Mason andTyler Morahn, friends of the groom. Ringbearers were Henry Spaniol, nephew of the bride and Owen and Beckham Govednik, nephews of the groom. Usherswere Ben Spaniol, brother-in-law of the bride and Chris Brandenburg, friend of the groom. Readers wereTina Baggett, aunt of the bride and Claire Chalkey, cousin of the bride. Altar server was Allison Chalkey, cousin of the bride. Greeter was Anna Holland, cousin of the bride. Parents of the bride are Troy and Jennifer Harcar. Grandparents are Jim and Sharon Chalkey and the late Eugeneand Diane Harcar. Parents of the Groom are Laurie Govednik and Bill Govednik. Grandparents are Diane Govednik and the late William Govednik and the late Laurence and Joanne McLachlan. Olivia is a 2012 graduate of Streator High School. She graduated from NorthernIllinois University with a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. She is currently an RN at OSF Medical Group in Ottawa. Mark is a 2008 graduate of Serena High School. He graduated from Northern Illinois University with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance. He is currently an Ag Lender at Pioneer State Bank in Earlville and also Farms. After a honeymoontrip to Negril, Jamaica, the couple resides in Ottawa.
