Caitlin Rinker and Ethan Brandner, both of Seatonville, IL, were married on September 28, 2019 at St. Patrick’s Church in Ottawa, IL. A reception followed at Senica’s Oak Ridge. The wedding party included Maid of Honor, Olivia Brandner along with Bridesmaids Rachel Duffield, Samantha Simpson, Sarah Over, Tara Mendez, and Tyler Fuhrman, Best Man Brad Mitchell along with Groomsmen Dylan Gerber, Ryan VanDusen, Ryan “Vern” Grieff, Chris Over, and Brian Loch, Junior Bridesmaids Juliet Rinker, Isabella Cimei, and Molly Arkins, Flower Girl Riley Arkins, Ring Bearer Isaac Cimei, Officiant Fr. David Kipfer, Ushers Brady Gerber and Brian Chapman, Accompanist Sarah Goetz, Soloist Emily Brodzik, Readers Emily Gerber and Pat Catalanello, Reception Hostesses Barb Husser, Peg McMahon, Sue Durdan, and Janet Sherbune, and Personal Attendants Anicka Shevokas, Grace Verciglio, and Hope Verciglio. Caitlin is the daughter of Gus Rinker and Kim Novak, of Grand Ridge, IL, and the granddaughter of the late Lloyd and Helen Rinker and the late Bill and Bernadine Novak. Ethan is the son of Brian and Debra Brandner of Ladd, IL, and the grandson of Barney and Rose Engelman of Peru and the late Harlan and Margurite Brandner. Caitlin is a 2009 graduate of Ottawa High School, a 2013 graduate of University of Illinois with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and a 2017 graduate of the University of Wisconsin with a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. She is a veterinarian at Novak-Rinker Veterinary Clinic. Ethan is a 2011 graduate of Hall High School and a 2014 graduate of Southeast Lineman Training Center. He is a lineman for the City of Peru. A trip to Alaska is planned for May 2020 in celebration of this wonderful milestone.
