MENDOTA — Mendota police are seeking information about a retail theft captured on surveillance around 11:15 p.m. Nov. 14 at the Clark Gas Station. There, a hooded male was spotted leaving the store with unpaid merchandise.

Jennifer C. Stadler, 34, of 857 Ninth St. Apt. 2, La Salle was charged with improper lane usage on a one-way street, driving while license suspended and a city ordinance violation for possession of cannabis at 4:34 p.m. Monday at Commerce Drive and May Road, according to Peru police.

TONICA — Two motorists were transported to a local hospital after a three-vehicle crash reported at 5:36 p.m. Tuesday at North 19th Road and Route 251, Tonica firefighters said.

In a press release, firefighters said they arrived on scene to find a partial lane blockage with vehicles in the ditch and on the roadway. Airbags deployed and extrication was not needed.

Public information officer Rick Turri said Tonica and Oglesby ambulances each transported one patient to Illinois Valley Community Hospital, Peru, with non-life threatening injuries. Two other patients were assessed at the scene and refused transport to a hospital, Turri said.

Tonica Police is investigating the accident.
