Wiggly Wag and Walk Event sponsors appreciated

Dear Editor,

Thank you to the generous sponsors and vendors that contributed to the Wiggly Wag and Walk Event held on Wednesday, Sept. 15.

Many dog lovers enjoy Wiggly Field regularly with its great amenities and agility equipment.

At the Wiggly Wag & Walk event we had 49 dogs at the park with their owners enjoying time together and checking out the variety of vendor booths and fun demonstrations.

It’s a team effort to pull off a successful event with vendors, demonstrators, and of course the much-needed volunteers.

Special thanks to the Oregon Fire Protection District for bringing out their ambulance, fire truck and “Sparky.”

A big thank you to Pines Meadow Vet for all their help and support.

Thank you to the following businesses and organizations: Granny Rose Animal Shelter, The Amos Fund, Anderson Feed, Pet Supplies Plus, Pines Meadow Vet Clinic, Foxy’s Dunk N Fluff, K9 Junction Kennels, Stateline Dog Watch, Houghs Maple Lane Farm, John Wiggins Signs, A Furry AffHair, and Sage Taylor’s Pet Caricatures.

Bree Pazera, Oregon Park District obedience instructor, and her dog Delilah demonstrated tricks, obedience and agility.

We thank all our demonstrators and their dogs: Danielle Benesh & Teddy, Hunter McKe and Kas, Cindy and Charlie Carroll and Rosie, Deputy Jon Shippert and K9 Duke, Amanda Zimmermann and Finn, and Ragan Johnson and Khaleesi.

These owners have put in a lot of time and training in with their pets and it is a joy to watch their dogs “work.”

To all the dog lovers who attended the event, thank you for bringing your dogs to the park.

It’s a good day when you can spend time with your “best friend.”
