Jessica Proszenyak racked up 18 kills Thursday to lead Crystal Lake South to a Fox Valley Conference win, 25-22, 23-25, 25-21, over Dundee-Crown in Carpentersville.
Jenna Rhoades provided 33 assists and 13 digs, Samantha Wesoly added 13 kills for the Gators (3-3, 3-3 FVC), McKenzie Wilson had 11 digs, and Megan Langdon had four blocks.
For D-C (0-6, 0-6), Makena Wesol picked up 12 kills. MacKenzie Field added 11 kills and two blocks, Jenna Brown had 27 assists, nine digs and four aces, and Natalie Smiech supplied five kills, 11 digs and three aces.
Prairie Ridge 2, Jacobs 1: At Crystal Lake, the Wolves (5-2, 5-1) pulled out the FVC win in three sets, 21-25, 25-20, 25-17.
Hannah Baudin supplied 22 assists and eight kills, Olivia Jost had 12 digs, Trinity Sheridan posted 12 kills, four aces and two blocks, and Claire Emery had three kills and two blocks.
Maggie Wallenberger paced Jacobs (6-5, 3-3) with 10 kills, five digs and two aces. Jaclyn Poirier had seven kills and three aces. Ireland Van Stone also had seven kills.
Cary-Grove 2, McHenry 1: At Cary, the Trojans picked up the FVC win, 17-25, 25-15, 25-13, behind nine kills and four aces from Jenna Splitt.
Evynn Layshock added nine kills for C-G (9-3, 3-2), Mia Soltis had 15 digs, and Lauren Passaglia posted 13 assists.
Harvard 2, North Boone 0: At Harvard, the Hornets (1-5) earned their first victory of the season with the nonconference win.
Asha Billstrand provided four kills, Dianayeli Plata had six assists, Alex Cooke had six assists, and Michaela Froehlich supplied two blocks.
BOYS SOCCER
Dundee-Crown 4, Huntley 0: At Carpentersville, the Chargers (5-1, 2-0) scored three times in the first half to pull away for the FVC win.
Roland Dearborn scored once and assisted on another. Jason Miller, Julian Saldana and Jack Searles also scored. Goalkeeper Nathan Becker made seven saves.
Huntley (2-4-1, 0-1) received seven saves from Ethan Kornas.
Crystal Lake Central 9, Belvidere 0: At Crystal Lake, Billy Cummings scored four times as the Tigers (2-1-1) cruised to a nonconference win..
Jake Nelson added two goals, Aidan Hudak had a goal and two assists, and Brandon Bruski and Karson Hollander each scored once. Elijah Burleson supplied two assists, and Kareem Castaneda, Adrian Palencia and Joey Cummings each had assists.
Joe Moore made eight saves for the shutout.
Crystal Lake South 5, Rockford Auburn 0: At Rockford, Alex Canfield scored four times and added an assist on Sam Bahnfleth's goal in the nonconference win for the Gators (5-1-2).
Garett Schneider, Colton Weidner, Tom Coughlin and Michal Dejworek each had an assist. Carson Hill and Dom Timberlake combined for the shutout in goal.
Jacobs 3, Geneva 0: At Algonquin, Bryan Ramos and Alex Nicastro each scored in the first half to help the Golden Eagles (4-2-2) pick up the nonconference win.
Jesse Nunez added a goal in the second half, and Josh Allen recorded seven saves en route to the shutout.
McHenry 5, Rockford Jefferson 0: At McHenry, the Warriors (4-2-2) earned the nonconference victory behind two goals from Edwin Diaz.
Jose Lira had a goal and an assist. Tony Vazquez and Nate Reinhart each added a goal. Logan Freid made four saves.
Hampshire 4, Belvidere North 1: At Hampshire, the Whip-Purs improved to 6-2-1 with the nonconference win.
Sawyer Shores scored four goals, and Kyle Schultz made four saves in goal.
GIRLS TENNIS
Huntley 5, Prairie Ridge 2: At Huntley, Ruhi Galati, Elaina Hibbler and Alessandra Rivera each won in singles to help the Red Raiders to the FVC dual win.
Kylie Phommasack and Michelle Barnvos won at No. 1 doubles for Huntley, and Ela Hontanosas and Sanni Kwon won at No. 4 doubles.
For Prairie Ridge, Lauren Pokonosky and Sarah Pollastrini pulled out a three-set win, 4-6, 7-6, 10-5, at No. 2 doubles. Kourtnie Eschman and Lily Manley won at No. 3 doubles.
Crystal Lake South 5, Crystal Lake Central 2: At Crystal Lake, the Gators used a trio of three-set wins to edge Central in their FVC dual.
Sarah Schuetzle won in straight sets at No.1 singles, and Lizzy Sudbrook won, 3-6, 6-2, 6-4, at No. 2 singles.
Hannah Schuetzle and Anna Chang also won in straight sets at No. 1 doubles. Katie Rokusek and Jaden Appelhans won, 4-6, 7-5 (2), 7-5), at No. 2 doubles, and Dhruvi Mehta and Abby Enck won, 6-4, 3-6, 6-0, at No. 3 doubles.
For Central, Haley Benard won at No. 3 singles, while Ellyse Cruz and Lexi Holtkamp won at No. 4 doubles.

Kaya Trumbo, Lara Santa Ines and Tania Vesselinova each won in singles. Lindsay Cunningham and Isha Desai (No. 1 doubles), Lindsey Taylor and Elyssa Kontos (No. 2 doubles), Alison Gerhardt and Samantha Seibert (No. 3 doubles) and Hannah Strauss and Anya Wieczorek (No. 4 doubles) all won.
BOYS GOLF
Cary-Grove 161, McHenry 175: At Foxford Hills in Cary, Michael Greenhill and Cole Seeger each fired 38s to lead the Trojans to the FVC win.
Trevor Beaugureau carded a 42, and Nate Jablonski's rounded out C-G's scoring with a 43.
McHenry's Truman Keppy was the match's medalist with a 37. Liam Nielsen shot 42.
GIRLS SWIMMING
Cary-Grove double dual: Huntley went 2-0 in duals, defeating, Cary-Grove 57-37, and Dundee-Crown, 73-21.
Cary-Grove beat D-C, 76-18.
Huntley's Sydney McGuine, Caitlyn Gooden, Ella Young and Abigail Devries teamed up to win the 200 medley relay in 1:57.34.
McGuine won the 50 freestyle (25.09) and 100 freestyle (55.95). Young won the 200 individual medley (2:16.40) and the 100 butterfly (1:01.55). Jillian Cherwin captured the 200 freestyle (2:05.64), and DeVries won the 100 backstroke (1:06.81).
Cherwin, DeVries, Young and McGuine worked to win the 400 freestyle relay (3:53.96).
C-G's Emily Marks took first in the 500 freestyle (5:47.25). Kelsey Harmsen, Liv Willis, Marks and Ayden Donfris won the 200 freestyle relay (1:48.07).
D-C's Ali Fitzgerald won the 100 breaststroke (1:10.48).
Wednesday's result
Woodstock co-op 90, McHenry 79: At Woodstock, Hayley Halsall and Lucia Alcazar each won two events as the Blue Streaks defeated the Warriors in their FVC dual meet.
Halsall won the 100-yard butterfly and 500 freestyle, and Alcazar won the 200 individual medley and 100 breaststroke.
Angelina Scolio, Alcazar, Halsall, and Autumn Zimmerman won the 200 medley relay. Abbie Heidtke, Angelina Scolio, Halsall and Zimmerman captured the 200 free relay.
For McHenry, Riley Tobin won the 200 freestyle, Paige Bantner won the 50 and 100 freestyle, and Melisa Nava took first in the 100 backstroke.
Bantner, Kristy Robinson, Andrea Avila and Nava won the 400 free relay.
