DIXON – The KFC restaurant at 737 N. Galena Ave. is closed.
Typed signs on the front door and the drive-thru window both read, “Sorry we are unfortunately closed for the time being.”
Company signs remained and sales displays still were affixed on windows and drive-thru equipment. Most electrical equipment in the building was powered down.
The restaurant is owned by EYM Realty of Illinois, which bought it from Zak Family Foods in July for $251,000. EYM also owns Pizza Hut, Burger King and Denny’s locations in eight states.
A call to EYM was not returned Tuesday.
Positions for a general manager, assistant restaurant manager and shift supervisor were posted on Aug. 21 on the hiring website ZipRecruiter.
