Streator boutique relocates; VFW restored

Ottawa's new Iniga pizza place to open late-Sept, now hiring

Owner Tim Cottingim is warming up the wood fire oven at Ottawa's new pizza place.

"Iniga" is set to open on Wednesday, Sept. 25, at their space at 215 W. Jefferson St. with a by-invitation soft open expected the week prior.

Zeller Inn for sale

One of Ottawa's historic bars is available for purchase — business and all.

The owners of Zeller Inn Tavern, 615 Columbus St., announced the business is for sale on their Facebook page.

The Times reached out to the owners on Facebook who said they are relocating to Florida.

The businesses' Facebook page says the building has been open since 1871 and features vintage mosaic tile and a mahogany bar. The Zeller Inn Tavern was originally The Court Place Tavern located immediately west of the Zeller Inn Hotel. The hotel stood where the patio is located in the current Zeller Inn Tavern, according to their Facebook page.

For more information, call this business at 815-431-9550 or visit fb.com/zeller.inn.

Restoration work at Streator VFW

Rehab work has begun on the Streator VFW, 305 E. Hickory St., although the owners have yet to set a firm plan for the building.

Malanie Moreno, who owns the building with her husband, Mario, said they're hoping the building can become a type of banquet hall but they haven't come to a solid decision on what the building will become.

The Morenos purchased the building in December 2018 after the VFW voted to put it up for sale; the club still meets on the third Thursday of each month at the American Legion, 218 W. Main St.
