Joliet Junior College to host enrollment day for early childhood center Aug. 16

The Joliet Junior College Early Childhood Center will host its fall open enrollment day Aug. 16 at the school’s main campus.

Parents are encouraged to bring their child, ages 3 to 5, to explore the early childhood preschool environment, according to JJC’s website. Families will be able to learn about the program, view curriculum and meet the center’s parent support specialist to learn how to qualify for child care scholarships.

The center provides guidance and the social, emotional, physical and cognitive growth for children, as well as opportunities for social interactions during short tours and activities on campus.

The center is National Association for Education of Young Children and Excelerate Illinois Gold-certified, and is located on JJC’s main campus at 1215 Houbolt Road.

For information about the program, call Amy Martin at 815-280-2760, email her at ammartin@jjc.edu or visit jjc.edu.
