DIXON – A 19-year-old Dixon man was in Lee County Jail on $150,000 bond Monday, accused of raping a 17-year-old girl in March.

Dalton H. Adcock, arrested Saturday, is charged with criminal sexual assault, punishable by 6 to 30 years in prison, and unlawful restraint, which carries 1 to 3 years.

According to Amboy police, Adcock raped the teen on March 24 in Amboy, and refused to let her get out of a car.

Three days earlier, Adcock pleaded guilty in Lee County Court to possession of a controlled substance and was give second-chance probation, which means judgment would be withheld for 2 years as long as he met terms set by the court, which include not breaking any other law.

If he is convicted in this case, that probation would be revoked.

Adcock has a preliminary hearing July 3 in Lee County Court.
