Broadcaster Orion Samuelson will emcee the 2019 Harvard Milk Days Country Breakfast on June 1.
The event will be held from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at Stratford Banquet Hall, 21007 McGuire Road, Harvard, according to a news release. Tickets are $20 at the door.
Samuelson can be heard on WGN radio, as well as on more than 260 radio stations with his syndicated National Farm Report and on 110 stations with his Samuelson Sez show, according to the release.
“Orion also has quite the sense of humor,” the release stated, adding that Orion has been involved with Harvard Milk Days for more than 50 years.
Milk Days poster artist Caomihe Kelly, and her work of art titled: “Nurturing future generations: All we have we owe to ‘Udders’ will also be featured. Items will be available for auction.
The 2019 Harvard Milk Days queen and her court, the grand marshals and the champion 2018 Harvard Stingers Junior Tackle Football Team will also be introduced.
