John Shields Elementary School recognizes students with special pancake breakfast

Kaneland John Shields Elementary School held a pancake breakfast on April 30 to recognize students who have consistently demonstrated exceptional positive learner characteristics by following directions, being kind to others and putting forth good effort in all exploratories, according to a news release from the school.

The release states that exploratory teachers recognize the impact that this type of behavior has on the learning environment, and wanted to acknowledge the students who have proven to be able to be counted on to put forth his or her best effort in their classes.

The following students were recognized: Ryker Baxley, Eva Hermosillo, Declan Herron, Rylie Hinds, Stella Mack, Trigg Munsterman, Emily Wegman, Brookelyn Hameoeller,  Mason Manibog, Griffin Muiznieks, James Ripper, Carter Robinson, Bella Rucker, Parker Suchomel, Ellie Warfel, Suzie Bahramis, Logan Bickel, Hannah Kowalczyk, Arden Stoddard, Kamden Westbrook, Tyler Wood, Nicolas Aguilera, Kannon Baxley, Corinne Faivre, Owen Gruber, Abby Klish, Lauren Lima, Madison Reeder, Olivia Davis, Reagan Kunas, Bailey Strasser, John Thill, Bethany Volkening, Isabel Aguilera, Kara Colles, Zoe Kraus, Tristan Nickel, Maya Suits, Arielle Tautkus, Kinleigh Westbrook and Jacob Whittington.
