Marquette hosts May Merriment on May 4

Marquette Academy’s 37th annual dinner/auction, May Merriment – Light Up the Night, is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. Saturday, May 4, at the school's Bader Gym.

The fundraiser helps keep the school affordable for students. Last year more than $300,000 in tuition assistance was provided to families.

Tickets cost $85 per person and include gourmet dinner, open bar, entertainment, valet service and bidder number.

Call 815-433-0125 to reserve a table, or buy a raffle ticket for a chance to win $25,000. Five other cash prizes are available. An early bird drawing was held. Winners need not be present to win.

Featured Live auction items include: a trip to Italy, Bears tickets, dinner for 8 from Chef Tim, garden and patio decor, fresh potted flowers, Marquette fan gear, room interior redesign, gold coin, Cubs and Sox tickets, and other items.
