Romeoville teacher recognized for computer science

The VVSD Golden Hashtag award is part of Hour of Code Week in early December, which is a global movement introducing students worldwide to computer science, inspiring kids to learn more, breaking stereotypes, and leaving them feeling empowered.

VVSD educators were encouraged to participate by introducing a coding activity in schools and classrooms, and sharing their progress using photos or video on Twitter.

Dana Bingham, teaching and tearning coach at R.C. Hill Elementary School in Romeoville, has been very active on Twitter this school year, and contributed every day during the VVSD Slow Chat.

Recently, she shared exciting updates on using Flipgrid and learning about more advanced coding activities.
