GENEVA – The Geneva Chamber of Commerce hired Kelli Rogers who will begin March 18 as its new sponsorship director, the chamber announced in a news release.
Rogers was previously with Shaw Media as an account executive for five years.Prior to that she was an early childhood teacher at Geneva Park District for 10 years.
In her new role, Rogers will be responsible for maintaining, developing, obtaining and managing sponsorships for Geneva Chamber’s festivals, programs and events, as well as serving as an advocate for the Geneva Chamber, the release stated.
“It has always been very important to me to build a solid and trusting relationship with my clients,” Rogers stated in the release. “My focus is to really listen to what they needed as a business and how I can help them achieve their business goals. I have enjoyed building lifelong relationships with many of the business owners in the community.”
Geneva Chamber President Paula Schmidt said Rogers is bringing years of selling experience and relationships to the chamber.
“We are fortunate to have someone in that position that is familiar with Geneva, its festivals and events and has worked with the Chamber before,” Schmidt stated in the release.“We look forward to her new ideas which will only enhance the sponsorship director position.”
Rogers lives in La Fox with her husband, Eric, and their two boys Camden and Lincoln.
