Dancing With Our Local Stars fundraiser set for April 6

Guardian Angel Community Services’ "Angelica: Dancing With Our Local Stars Gala” and fundraiser will be held at 5:30 p.m. April 6 at Bobak’s Signature Events & Conference Center in Woodridge.

Eight local“stars” show off their dance moves to raise money for Guardian Angel Community Services, the oldest non-profit social services organization in Will County, serving the Chicagoland area for over 121 years, via seven life-saving programs.

This year’s dance lineup features: Lyndean Brick (Advis), Jenna Crago (Strata Decision Technology), Sean Egglesfield (Southwest Airlines), Debyjo Ericksen (Bella Fiori Flower Shop), Al Roechner (Joliet Police chief), Martin J.Shanahan (intermin city manager of Joliet), Lauren Staley Ferry (Will County clerk), and Anthony Storcz (Landmark Construction).

Actor Colin Egglesfield will be one of the event judges. He is known for portraying Erica Kane’s son on the long lived daytime drama, "All My Children," which soon led to roles on such shows as "Melrose Place," "Rizzoli and Isles" and "The Client List" with Jennifer Love Hewitt.

He has also starred in several films including the romantic comedy "Something Borrowed" with Kate Hudson, "Open Road’" with Andy Garcia, "The Space Between Us’" with Gary Oldman and "Backtrace" with Sylvestor Stallone.

Alicia Guerrero will speak at this year’s event. Her story appeared on the True Crime Series investigation Discovery (ID) network about the tragic murder of her 15-year-old daughter, Briana Valle,
