For the second consecutive season, Northern Illnois junior Eugene German came away with second-team all-Mid-American Conference honors and was the Huskies' lone representative in the conference's postseason awards.
German was the MAC's second-leading scorer at 19.6 points per game while adding 5.1 rebounds per contest, 2.9 assists per game and has 34 steals. His 2.7 3-pointers made per game — German made 76 total in the regular season — were third in the conference in the regular season and he shot 40.2 percent from beyond the 3-point arc.
German responded to the selection in a tweet.
"Honestly without God, my family, my teammates and coaches this wouldn’t be possible. I’m just blessed that all my hard work didn’t go unnoticed now let’s win baby."
