Collins Dental welcomes massage therapist

Adhering to its vow to hire locally and invest in the community, Collins Dental Group has added Renee Larson to the office family. Born and raised in DeKalb County, Larson is a DeKalb High School and University of Iowa graduate who resides in DeKalb.

“Renee has been a patient of Collins Dental since she was a child, and she now works with our staff to help other patients enjoy the health benefits of massage,” Dr. Dennis Collins said in a news release. “Her services include Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, TMJ release and cranial sacral massage.

“Through increased circulation in the oral tissues, massage can help prepare the area for dental work and is beneficial to the overall healing process,” he said in the release.

Larson can’t wait to get started at Collins.

“I’m thrilled to be working in the same dental practice that has taken such good care of my entire family’s dental care needs for over 20 years,” she said in the release.

Patients are invited to visit Larson for a complimentary 30-minute massage either before or after their operative dental appointment or just to say hello. In addition to complimentary sessions, she is available for longer sessions of 60 or 90 minutes.
