Metal engraver’s display at gun show

Ron Skaggs of rural Princeton was one of many people to have displays at Sunday’s Sauk Trail Gun Show at the Bureau County Fairgrounds in Princeton. Skaggs does metal engraving and also creates items such as decorative duck decoys, pendants made of silver and mastodon ivory, decorative powder horns, and items related to muzzle-loading firearms. The gun show, sponsored by Sauk Trail Gun Collectors, took place Saturday and Sunday. Upcoming shows will be March 30-31, Oct. 26-27 and Nov. 23-24.
