Ottawa

Savanna M.L. Shriber, 20, was arrested Tuesday at Columbus Street and Interstate 80 on complaints of driving while license suspended and operating a vehicle with expired registration. Shriber was released on I-bond.

Streator

Thomas White, 23, Richton Park, was arrested 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at Otter Creek and Broadway streets on a La Salle County warrant for a charge of unlawful delivery of a controlled substance. White was taken to La Salle County Jail.

Jillian Sherman, 29, Streator, and Anthony Fialko, 27, Streator, were arrested 10:39 a.m. Tuesday on the 400 block of South Sterling Street on La Salle County warrants for charges of theft. Sherman and Fialko were taken to La Salle County Jail.

Sometime overnight Monday two windows on a vehicle were damaged on the 800 block of Jessie Avenue, according to a report.

La Salle County

Gary Shea, 57, Lostant, was taken to Illinois Valley Community Hospital in Peru by Lostant EMS with minor injuries following a single-vehicle crash 5:15 p.m. Tuesday on East Eighth Road in Richland Township. Shea was south bound on East Eighth Road when he lost control of his vehicle and went into the ditch. No citations were issued.

Alida Kreier, 51, Streator, was arrested 9:41 p.m. Monday on North 18th Road in Farm Ridge Township on complaints of DUI and improper lane usage. Kreier was given a notice to appear in court.

After a single-vehicle crash 9:25 p.m. Tuesday on East 2351st Road in Northville Township, a girl, 17, and her passenger, 15, were taken to Valley West Hospital in Sandwich by Somonauk EMS with minor injuries. The 17-year-old girl lost control of her vehicle on icy roads, entered the ditch and rolled her vehicle on its side. There were no citations issued.

Fire calls

Ottawa firefighters responded to an alarm 4:03 p.m. Tuesday at 906 Canal St. set off by cooking odors. The alarm was reset.

At 5:22 p.m. Tuesday, Streator firefighters responded to 609 N. Everett St. for an alarm activated by cooking.
