Stolen vehicle recovered
Oswego police recovered a vehicle that was reported stolen in Minnesota on Seton Creek Drive Dec. 6 at 8:09 p.m.
Domestic battery arrest
Oswego police arrested Corina K. Mendoza, 36, of the 300 block of Ogden Falls Boulevard Dec. 9 at 3:39 a.m. at her residence on charges of domestic battery.
Police said Mendoza was transported to the county jail in Yorkville pending court proceedings. Police said a 40-year-old Oswego resident was injured in the incident, but was not transported to the hospital.
DUI arrest
Oswego police arrested Wayne A. Miles, 61, of the 2200 block of Lakeside Drive, Aurora, on a charge of driving under the influence in the 500 block of Fifth Street Dec. 8 at 7:12 p.m.
Miles later posted bond and was released pending a court appearance, according to police.
Facing criminal damage charge
Oswego police arrested Keyonte C. Jones, 20, of the 1800 block of Riverside Court, Yorkville Dec. 7 on a charge of criminal damage to property.
Police said the incident occurred Dec. 6 at 11 p.m. in the 1000 block of Douglas Road and resulted in damage estimated at $1,750.
Investigate theft
Oswego police are investigating a theft that occurred at a store in the 2500 block of Route 34 Nov. 21.
Police identified a 26-year-old woman as the victim in the case and said property valued at $339 was taken.
Minor injuries in Rt. 34 crash
An Oswego resident, Richard C. Anderson, was injured in a two-vehicle crash in the 2800 block of Route 34 Dec. 6 10:47 a.m.
Police said Anderson was treated for minor injuries at an area hospital. The driver of the other vehicle involved in the crash was not hurt, according to police.
Take theft report at store
Oswego police took a report of a theft from a store in the 2700 block of Route 34 Dec. 4 at 3 p.m. Police said merchandise valued at $330.83 was taken from the store.
One hurt in Orchard crash
A Lisbon resident, Steven M. Weis, 63, was injured in a single-vehicle crash on Orchard Road between Mill Road and Tuscany Trail Dec. 5 at 12:08 a.m., according to Oswego police. Weis was transported to an area hospital, police said.
Investigate theft
Oswego police are investigating a theft that occurred Dec. 4 at a store in the 2900 block of Route 34. Police said merchandise valued at $89.99 was taken.
