Streator Post Office wins customer service award

United States Postal Service Central Illinois District executive managers visited the Streator Post Office to recognize employees for winning both the division and district Outstanding Customer Service Performance Award. Central Illinois District Manager Tangela Bush and other district managers were at the Streator Post Office on Oct. 25 to present trophies, certificates and a banner to be displayed in the retail lobby.

Marketing Manager Johnny Morris and Retail Manager Bernice Joseph said online surveys have been taken for quite a while to determine how well local post offices are doing, but this was the first quarter in which awards were presented.

Streator competed in the Central Illinois District with 264 offices. Streator was chosen as not only the Division Champion, but was selected as the top District Champion.
