Streator
Wendy Trapp, 36, Streator, was cited Monday night on complaints of driving while license suspended, leaving the scene of an accident, no valid registration and no insurance. Police said Trapp hit multiple utility poles with her vehicle at Joyce and Park streets, then left. Police found Trapp and her vehicle at her home, with Trapp then taken to OSF Center for Health - Streator. Trapp was given a court date.
La Salle County
Jake Negray, 28, Streator, was arrested at 6:41 p.m. Monday in Streator on a forgery warrant. He was taken to the county jail.
A vehicle driven by Paul Kodlec, 49, Lockport, collided with a vehicle driven by Bryan McQuiston, 31, Triumph, at about 5:25 p.m. Monday several miles north of Utica at East Eighth and North 33rd roads. Both drivers were treated at the scene by Utica medics. Kodlec was cited on a complaint of disobeying a stop sign.
A vehicle driven by a 16-year-old collided with a vehicle driven by Austin Cole, 28, Long Point, at about 5:07 p.m. Monday at Route 18 and East 15th Road, at Streator's western edge. Both drivers were treated at the scene by Streator medics. The juvenile was cited on a complaint of failing to yield.
Fire Calls
Ottawa firefighters responded at 11:24 p.m. Monday to 701 W. McKinley Road for a report a fire detector was alarming. They found nothing unusual.
Ottawa firefighters responded at 6:37 p.m. Monday to 900 Paul St. for a fire alarm caused by cooking.
Streator firefighters responded at 9:52 a.m. Tuesday to a two-vehicle crash at Bloomington Street and Northpoint Drive.
