Presence Medical Group (PMG) has strengthened its commitment to neurological care in the Plainfield community with the addition of a new neurosurgery practice.
The new practice named is Neuroscience Institute - Plainfield. The practice is located at 16615 S. Route 59 and includes two highly experienced physicians – Dr. Beejal Amin and Dr. Tamir Hersonskey – who specialize in treating back pain and a range of complex brain and spine cases.
Amin is a board certified neurosurgeon with fellowship training in complex spine surgery. He uses well-established techniques, including minimally invasive spine surgery, to treat the following conditions: neck and low back pain, herniated discs, spinal trauma, spinal tumors, and scoliosis.
Also a board certified neurosurgeon, Hersonskey has fellowship training in epilepsy surgery and sees patients who are struggling with back pain, among other issues. Hersonskey’s clinical expertise liesin spinal disorders, cranial abnormalities, tumor resections, vascular surgery, and aneurysm clippings.
Both physicians have the ability to tailor appointments and surgeries to each patient’s specific needs.
