MILLEDGEVILLE – Ardree Jean Fogel, 89, of Milledgeville, died Thursday, Sept. 13, 2018, at Good Samaritan Society in Mount Carroll.

Ardree was born July 23, 1929, in Sterling, the daughter of Charles and Hazel (Reiger) Conley. She attended Sterling schools. Ardree married John “Jay” B. Fogel on April 24, 1948, in Milledgeville. He preceded her in death on Oct. 27, 2005. She was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Milledgeville.

Survivors include two daughters, Connie (Rick) Brockhouse of Milledgeville and Janice (John) Schell of Chadwick; two sons, Larry (Florence) Fogel of Mohawk, Michigan, and John (Barb) Fogel of Freeport; one sister, Holly (Stan) Ebersole of Sterling; 15 grandchildren, Barbara (Damien) Kia, Kristine (James) Ross, Jason (Naomi) Fogel, Curt (Pam) Eubanks, Darrin (Jenny) Eubanks, Ryan (Keisha) Lott, Rebecca (Joseph) Green, Jalon Bruder, Margo Hinkle, Eric Hinkle, Katrina (Dave) Hicks, Adam Fogel, Jared (Heather) Fogel, Aaron Fogel and Aaron (Kelsey) McFarlane; 26 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.

She also was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Milledgeville. The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at the church, with the Rev. Michael Lawyer and the Rev. Carol Soderholm co-officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Knoll Memorial Park in Sterling.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church or Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Mount Carroll.
