Attempted unlawful use of credit card

The attempted unlawful use of a credit card reportedly occurred at 11:46 a.m. Sept. 5 at Whole Foods, 215 S. Route 83.

Battery

• William Friel, 31, of the 800 block of South Poplar Avenue, Elmhurst, was charged at 7 p.m. Sept. 3 with domestic battery in the 800 block of South Poplar Avenue.

• An incident of aggravated assault reportedly occurred at 8:04 p.m. Sept. 4 at Third Street and Maison Court.

• Elvin Velazquez, 42, of the 200 block of North Addison Avenue, Elmhurst, was charged at 1:05 a.m. Sept. 8 with domestic battery at Fitz's Pub, 172 N. Addison Ave.

Burglary

• A trailer reportedly was stolen between 9 p.m. Aug. 15 and 8:13 a.m. Aug. 16 from the parking lot of The Fair Plumber, 627 N. York St. The trailer later was found on the ramp for westbound Interstate 290 at York Road. A lock reportedly had been cut on the door of the trailer, and the doors reportedly were opened.

• Nickey Frank, 45, and Sandy Frank, 37, of the 2600 block of North Central Park Avenue, Chicago, was charged at 11:01 p.m. Aug. 31 with residential burglary near their residence. Elmhurst police arrested the two individuals following a burglary that reportedly occurred between 3:15 and 3:30 p.m. Aug. 8 in the 400 block of North West Avenue in Elmhurst.

Michael A. Astorino, 28, of the 200 block of West Devon Avenue, Roselle, was charged at 9:16 a.m. Sept. 4 with residential burglary in the 600 block of West Armitage Avenue. Astorino was found in Chicago by Elmhurst Police Department detectives.

• A white canvas bag containing miscellaneous items reportedly was stolen between 9 p.m. Sept. 1 and 8 a.m. Sept. 3 in the zero to 100 block of Elm Creek Drive.

• Tools were reported stolen at 3:07 p.m. Sept. 7 from a locked work truck in the 500 block of West Lake Street. The victim reportedly did not know where or when the incident occurred but reported the burglary could have occurred while he was completing a job in Carol Stream or Wheaton.

Child endangerment

Cristina Filipa, 31, of the 300 block of South Kingery Drive, Addison, was charged at 3:29 p.m. Sept. 6 with child endangerment in a vehicle in the 200 block of South Route 83.

Controlled substance possession

Joseph T. Daniels, 27, of the P.O. Box 2571, Northlake, was charged at 1:32 a.m. Sept. 2 with possession of a controlled substance and failure to wear a seat belt at York Street and Industrial Drive.

Deceptive practice

An incident involving a deceptive practice was reported at 3:27 p.m. Aug. 31 as having occurred between 12:01 a.m. Aug. 27 and 6:30 a.m. Aug. 31 at BMO Harris Bank, 1121 S. York St. Someone reportedly had been cashing fraudulent checks under the victim and her husband's business account.

Disorderly conduct

• Two juveniles were charged at 12:04 p.m. Aug. 28 with disorderly conduct – fighting at York Community High School, 355 W. St. Charles Road.

• Roberto Andres, 27, of the 300 block of East North Avenue, Elmhurst, was cited at 10:42 p.m. Sept. 1 with disorderly conduct – public intoxication at Illinois Street and Elmhurst Avenue.

• Two juveniles were cited at 1:10 p.m. Sept. 6 with disorderly conduct at York Community High School, 355 W. St. Charles Road.

• A juvenile was cited at 1:33 p.m. Sept. 7 with disorderly conduct and possession of alternative nicotine products at York Community High School, 355 W. St. Charles Road. A second juvenile was cited at the same time and date with disorderly conduct at the same location.

• Darla A. Figved, 51, of the 800 block of South Mitchell Avenue, Elmhurst, was cited at 10:43 p.m. with public intoxication at Prospect Avenue and Van Buren Street.

• Daniel Sullivan, 27, of the 1300 block of Grandview Drive, New Lenox, was cited at 6:23 a.m. Sept. 9 with disorderly conduct – public intoxication in the 800 block of Washington Street.

Drug paraphernalia possession

Jonathan Leiva, 34, of the 3700 block of West Irving Park Road, Chicago, was cited at 4:04 p.m. Aug. 30 with possession of drug paraphernalia, speeding, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and suspended registration at York Street and Grand Avenue.

DUI

• Brayan T. Soc Perez, 22, of the 100 block of Sonny Lane, Bensenville, was charged at 2:22 a.m. Sept. 1 with driving under the influence of alcohol and transportation of open alcohol at Lake and Walnut streets. Omar Lopez, 30, of the 100 block of Sonny Lane, Bensenville, was cited at the same time and date with transportation of open alcohol at the same location.

• Raymond Quinones, 43, of the 1800 block of DeForest Lane, Hanover Park, was charged at 6:11 a.m. Sept. 8 with DUI of alcohol, injuring city property, possession of drug paraphernalia, improper lane use and unlawful possession of marijuana at Superior Ambulance Service, 395 W. Lake St.

• Daniel DeFily, 32, of the zero to 100 block of West Willow Road, Lombard, was charged at 12:28 a.m. Sept. 9 with DUI of drugs and failure to signal at Route 83 and Riverside Drive.

Forgery

A counterfeit $100 bill reportedly was used at 10:59 p.m. Sept. 3 at York Theatre, 150 N. York St.

Found property

A revolver reportedly was found at 11:50 a.m. Sept. 6 in a closet in the 200 block of North Evergreen Avenue.

Identity theft

An incident involving identity theft reportedly occurred at 4 p.m. Sept. 2 in the 100 block of Walnut Street. Fraudulent charges reportedly were made at gas stations in Plainfield and Joliet.

Lost property

• A black bi-fold clasp wallet was reported lost at 4:39 p.m. Aug. 28 in the 200 block of North Addison Avenue.

• A wallet was reported at 12:21 p.m. Sept. 1 as having been mislaid between 4 p.m. Aug. 19 and 5 p.m. Aug. 20 in the 800 block of South Hillcrest Avenue.

• An Illinois driver's license reportedly was lost between 6:15 p.m. Sept. 7 and 11:20 a.m. Sept. 8 in the 100 block of East Park Avenue.

Marijuana possession

• Alec Smith, 21, of the 5800 block of Ridge Avenue, Berkeley, was cited at 7:23 p.m. Sept. 4 with unlawful possession of marijuana at Commerce Parkway and Schiller Street. Enrique Bonilla, 23, of the 5800 block of Ridge Avenue, Berkeley, was cited at the same time and date with unlawful possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia at the same location.

• Juan Villanueva, 35, of the 1200 block of South 13th Avenue, Maywood, was charged at 12:23 a.m. Sept. 5 with unlawful possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and speeding at North Avenue and Willow Street.

• Jeffrey Noerr, 22, of the 400 block of North Ridgeland Avenue, Elmhurst, was cited at 8:39 p.m. Sept. 5 with unlawful possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia at the Addison Parking Deck, 149 N. Addison Ave.

• Scott Muehring, 43, of the 500 block of East Park Avenue, Elmhurst, was charged at 7:22 a.m. Sept. 6 with unlawful possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia in the 500 block of East Park Avenue.

• Austin Maher, 20, of the 4500 block of Prince Street, Downers Grove, and Natasha Jung, 19, of the 5000 block of Cumnor Road, Downers Grove, were cited at 6:54 p.m. Sept. 6 with unlawful possession of marijuana at Elmhurst College, 190 S. Prospect Ave.

• Nolan Ryan Murnick, 24, of the zero to 100 block of Second Street, Downers Grove, was charged at 12:13 a.m. Sept. 9 with unlawful possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia at York Street and Commerce Avenue.

• Wilfrido Manjarrez, 30, of the 3900 block of North Nora Avenue, Chicago, was cited at 2:57 a.m. Sept. 10 with unlawful possession of marijuana, speeding and tinted windows at North and Addison avenues.

• Shannon K. Trotter, 31, of the 5500 block of Underwood Street, Detroit, Mich., was cited at 3:35 a.m. Sept. 10 with unlawful possession of marijuana, illegal transportation of alcohol and disobeying a traffic control device at North Avenue and York Street. Demetrius Cade, 43, of the 19300 block of Westmoreland Road, Detroit, Mich., was cited at the same time and date with unlawful possession of marijuana and illegal transportation of alcohol at the same location.

Possession of stolen vehicle

Michael Ward, 37, of the 3100 block of West Fulton Street, Chicago, was charged at 4:55 p.m. Sept. 4 with possession of stolen motor vehicle, driving while license revoked, no insurance, improper display of registration and driving on an unsafe tire at St. Charles Road and Hagans Avenue.

Property damage

• Graffiti markings reportedly were spray painted between 10 p.m. Sept. 6 and 9 a.m. Sept. 7 on a semi-trailer while it was parked overnight in a parking lot in the 300 block of West Lake Street.

• A lock that secures an access hatch was reported missing at 3:04 p.m. Sept. 8 at Park and Myrtle avenues.

Public intoxication

• Jeremy L. Hansen, 41, of the 600 block of North Adele Street, Elmhurst, was cited at 2:10 a.m. Sept. 8 with public intoxication in the 200 block of East Third Street.

• Robert Baldwin, 68, of the 300 block of West North Avenue, Elmhurst, was cited at 4 p.m. Sept. 8 with public intoxication in the parking lot at Studio 46 Hair Salon, 599 N. York St.

Suspicious circumstances

• An incident involving suspicious circumstances reportedly occurred at 4:25 p.m. Aug. 29 in the 400 block of West Dorchester Place.

• An incident involving suspicious circumstances reportedly occurred between noon Aug. 21 and noon Sept. 8 in the 600 block of Armitage Avenue. The victim reported receiving mailings addressed to suspects at the unoccupied house the victim owns.

Suspicious vehicle

An incident involving a suspicious vehicle reportedly occurred between 4:10 and 4:15 p.m. Sept. 4 at Emerson Elementary School, 400 N. West Ave.

Theft

• August C. Palmer, 64, of the 900 block of South Ninth Avenue, Maywood, was charged at 6:55 p.m. Aug. 25 with felony retail theft at Jewel-Osco, 944 S. York St. Palmer allegedly also attempted to steal items at 5:25 p.m. Aug. 10 at the same location.

• The rear license plate of a vehicle reportedly was stolen between 1:30 and 2:40 p.m. Sept. 5 in the 100 block of Fellows Court.

• A brown, red and blue wallet reportedly was stolen between 5:30 and 5:40 p.m. Sept. 5 at TCBY, 158 N. York St.

• A cellphone reportedly was stolen between 9 and 9:30 p.m. Sept. 4 from a locker at LA Fitness, 620 N. York St.

• Six iPhone 7 devices, six Otterbox phone cases and a Milwaukee SawZall reportedly were stolen between 8 a.m. Aug. 1 and 8 a.m. Sept. 4 at Schindler Elevator Corp., 853 N. Church Court.

• An incident involving theft by deception reportedly occurred between 12:05 and 3:06 p.m. Sept. 7 in the 200 block of North Addison Avenue. The victim reportedly was contacted by a man stating a relative was involved in a minor accident and needed cash to be released from custody. The man instructed the victim to purchase two Walmart gift cards and two Home Depot gift cards, and the victim did that and provided the man with the card numbers. The victim's wife became suspicious and contacted the relative, who advised he was fine.

• A bottle of vodka reportedly was stolen at 5:08 p.m. Sept. 7 at Mariano's, 678 N. York St.

• A gold iPhone 6S Plus was reported stolen at 10:28 p.m. Sept. 7 at Sky Zone Trampoline Park, 325 W. Lake St.

• Cash reportedly was stolen at 5:54 p.m. Sept. 8 at Hamburger Heaven, 281 N. York St. A man reportedly placed an order with a $100 dollar bill and then distracted the cashier, taking the $100 bill back along with getting $91.45 back in change.

• A cellphone reportedly was stolen between 1:30 and 3:30 p.m. Sept. 9 in the 100 block of East North End Avenue.

Traffic violation

• Gulam Shaikh, 37, of the 6600 block of Demose Drive, Houston, Texas, was charged at 2:06 a.m. Aug. 28 with no valid driver's license, improper lane use, expired registration and operating an uninsured motor vehicle at Melrose and North avenues.

• Delicia R. Lynch, 26, of the 200 block of Rice Avenue, Bellwood, was charged at 11:13 p.m. Aug. 29 with driving while license suspended, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and driving with one headlight at York and Harvard streets.

• James Johnston, 82, of the 200 block of East Butterfield Road, Elmhurst, was cited at 5:56 p.m. Aug. 30 with driving while license suspended and operating an uninsured motor vehicle at Butterfield Road and Parkside Avenue.

• Daniel Atanasov, 26, of the 1S200 block of Dillon Lane, Villa Park, was charged at 1 a.m. Sept. 1 with driving while license suspended, speeding and improper lane use at Route 83 and Riverside Drive.

• Manfred Perez-Nolasco, 26, of the 1000 block of David Drive, Bensenville, was cited at 8:06 p.m. Sept. 1 with no valid driver's license and operation of motor vehicle without lights at Grand Avenue and York Street.

• Wendi Roman-Soto, 36, of the 2400 block of North Tripp Avenue, Chicago, was charged at 1:08 a.m. Sept. 2 with driving while license suspended, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, unlawful use of an electronic communication device, failure to secure child in a child restraint, failure to secure child in a seat belt and illegal transportation of alcohol at North and Glade avenues.

• Edward May, 36, of the 17W400 block of Kirkland Lane, Villa Park, was charged at 2:01 a.m. Sept. 3 with driving while license suspended and improper parking on the roadway at North and Elm avenues.

• Samuel J. Cleary, 26, of the 200 block of North Michigan Street, Elmhurst, was charged at 10:43 a.m. Sept. 5 with driving while license suspended and speeding at North Avenue and Indiana Street.

• Anthony Tirado, 19, of the 5400 block of West 30th Street, Cicero, was charged at 1:03 a.m. Sept. 6 with driving while license suspended, speeding and no insurance at Butterfield Road and Bryan Street.

• Allan Martinez-Reyes, 28, of the 3200 block of West Armitage Avenue, Chicago, was charged at 4:37 p.m. Sept. 8 with no valid driver's license, speeding and operating an uninsured motor vehicle at Grand Avenue and Industrial Drive.

Underage drinking

Samantha Ocampo, 19, of the 6800 block of 13th Street, Berwyn, was cited at 2:46 a.m. Sept. 9 with consumption of alcohol by minor and illegal transportation of alcohol at St. Charles Road and Fair Avenue.

Warrant arrest

• Lauren A. Miller, 23, of the 2600 block of Glos Street, Bellwood, was arrested at 4:17 p.m. Sept. 4 on a warrant out of the Elmhurst Police Department at the Elmhurst Police Department, 125 E. First St.

• Jesse C. Ingram, 20, of the 1100 block of Judson Street, Bensenville, was arrested at 2:57 a.m. Sept. 8 on a warrant out of DuPage County and charged with DUI of alcohol, improper lane use, driving while license suspended, consumption of alcohol by a minor, illegal transportation of alcohol, obstructing a peace officer and operating an uninsured motor vehicle at York Street and Grand Avenue.
