ROCK FALLS – Jeffery Allen Burgess, 45, of Rock Falls, died Sunday, July 15, 2018, at CGH Medical Center in Sterling, from injuries suffered in a motorcycle crash. He was employed as a tool builder at JSP Mold in Milledgeville.
He was born on Dec. 5, 1972, in Sterling, the son of Jerry and Kathryn (Walker) Burgess Sr.
Survivors include his daughter, Kelsay (Logan) Rieck of Albany; his brother, Jerry (Monica) Burgess of Sterling; his sister, Kendra (Jeff) Cook of Sterling; three grandchildren; and three nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A gathering of friends and family will be from 11 a.m. to 12:45 p.m., and the funeral at 1 p.m. Wednesday at McDonald Funeral Home & Crematory in Rock Falls, with the Rev. Scott Porter officiating. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery in Sterling.
