Huntley man inappropriately touched woman, teen girl at Walmart, police say

Huntley police arrested a man Thursday who has been accused of inappropriately touching a woman and teenage girl, and making them feel uncomfortable at a local Walmart.

Police received two reports concerning the man, and said the incident occurred between 4 and 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at Walmart, 12300 Route 47, Huntley.

Walmart staff members were made aware of the reports and assisted in the investigation, according to a news release Huntley police sent Thursday.

Huntley police later identified the suspect as 29-year-old Wesley S. Finlay, according to the release.

Finlay, of the 9700 block of Dalton Drive, Huntley, is charged with battery – a misdemeanor offense. The charge against Finlay was dropped in 2020.
