Domino's new "pizza theater" store in Lockport, located at 604 E. 9th St., officially is open for business.
The store will feature a grand opening celebration from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 23, according to a news release from the company this week.
Domino’s in Lockport features the pizza theater design, which is open-concept and allows flexibility for a number of elements, according to the release. Highlights include a comfortable lobby, indoor seating, free Wi-Fi, open-area viewing of the food preparation process, a carryout pickup window and the ability to track carryout orders electronically on a lobby screen. The store also features a chalkboard to allow customers to express their creativity or leave feedback for team members.
“We are excited to bring the first pizza theater store to Lockport,” said Ray Montez, franchise owner of Domino’s in Lockport. “The pizza theater design is an interactive experience where customers can actually watch and track their pizza being made, each step of the way. Domino’s is bringing the art and fun of pizza making to the forefront.”
Domino’s will feature prizes and free samples June 23, and it will hold a drawing to give away a 50-inch flat-screen TV at 3 p.m. Customers can register to win by filling out an entry form at the store before 3 p.m. June 23. The store also will offer medium one-topping carryout pizzas for $3.99 each through June 23.
