A Lake in the Hills man who pleaded guilty to wire fraud in December has been sentenced to three years in federal prison.

Salvatore Cribari – also known as Sal Fradillio – 59, was indicted and charged with nine counts of wire fraud in connection with defrauding an unnamed company that operates a nationwide chain of home improvement stores, according to a news release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office of the Northern District of Illinois.

Cribari also was sentenced to three years of supervised release and ordered to pay restitution in the amount of $342,489.52.

Between February 2008 and September 2016, Cribari obtained hundreds of thousands of dollars in store credit from various locations of a home improvement store by returning stolen merchandise.
