Sharron C. Kirgan

STREATOR — Sharron C. Kirgan, 79, passed away Sunday morning, April 8, at the Flanagan Rehabilitation & Health Care Center.

Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 11, at Winterrowd Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Michael the Archangel Church. Burial will be in Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Leonore.

Sharron was born Feb. 18, 1939, in Streator, to John and Geneva (Kees) Klieber.

Surviving are children, Rose (Mike) Mallaney, Patrick Kirgan, Becky Kirgan and Matthew Kirgan, all of Streator; nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; a brother, Larry (Nancy) Klieber, of Lostant; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Matthew David Kirgan Jr.; and a brother, Ronald Klieber.

Sharron graduated from Tonica High School and retired from St. Mary’s Hospital in the dietary department. She also was a proud member of St. Michael the Archangel Church.

Memorials may be made to St. Michael the Archangel Church.
