An Aurora woman has been arrested on charges related to an alleged relationship with a 16-year-old Yorkville girl, Yorkville police announced Thursday.
Yorkville police investigated a battery between an adult woman and the girl in September of last year in the 1300 block of Marketplace Drive.
Police said they determined that Alexis B. Wallace, 21, of Aurora, had been having an ongoing sexual relationship with the juvenile victim.
Wallace was taken into custody Thursday, Feb. 8, by the U.S. Marshals Service Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task Force, and she has been charged with multiple counts of aggravated criminal sexual assault, along with aggravated domestic battery, aggravated battery and battery, according to police.
