Cal’s Angels to host concert featuring Goo Goo Dolls with special guest Gavin DeGraw

Cal’s Angels, a St. Charles-based pediatric cancer foundation, announced its summer benefit concert will be held July 14.

The event will feature Grammy-nominated alternative rock group Goo Goo Dolls with special guest Gavin DeGraw, a news release stated. The concert will take place at Arranmore Farm and Polo Club, 34 Rance Road, Oswego, a news release stated.

The event will benefit the charity’s mission to grant wishes, raise awareness and fund research for kids fighting cancer, the release stated.

Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. for general admission with Gavin DeGraw taking the stage at 7:30 p.m., followed by the Goo Goo Dolls at 9 p.m. Tickets are now available for purchase; the cost is $70 for general admission and $200 for VIP, which includes early entry at 5:30 p.m., access to the front row VIP area, plus select food and beverage.

“All proceeds from this show will go toward helping children at local hospitals who are battling cancer,” Stacey Sutter, co-founder of Cal’s Angels, said in the release. “We’ve organized many benefit events in the Chicago area, but this is our first concert. We are excited for everyone to come together for a cause that’s close to the hearts of so many – I’ve seen firsthand how events like this can greatly impact these kids.”

Guests are invited to bring their own blankets and alcohol and kick back on the open lawn seating, the release stated. Outside food and beverages are welcome, or guests can enjoy a wide variety of food and beverage items for purchase.

Sponsors include Vein and Laser Center of Elgin and Haribo.
