In Remembrance of Mark Alan Fulfs

Dec. 7, 1962 – Dec. 15, 2017

EAGLE BEND, Minn. – Mark Alan Fulfs, 55, of Eagle Bend, passed away Friday, Dec. 15, 2017, surrounded in love and prayer by immediate family at Pine Haven Care Center Facility in Pine Island, Minnesota.

Mark was born Dec. 7, 1962, in Sterling. He graduated from Sterling High School, and continued to receive a Bachelor of Arts degree from Augsburg College in Minneapolis. Mark was married to his high school sweetheart, Faye Lynn, on Nov. 9, 1985; they were married 32 years.

Mark worked in industrial maintenance for various companies all his adult life, and enjoyed being choir director and singing for several area churches and events. He also was actively involved in Northern Light Opera Company of Park Rapids, Minnesota.

Mark is survived by his wife, Faye Lynn Fulfs, his son, Matthew Fulfs and his daughter, Danielle Fulfs, all of Eagle Bend, Minnesota; his parents, Larry and Marilyn Fulfs of Winslow; his brother, Warren Fulfs and sister-in-law, Barb Fulfs of Fulton, and their children, Tim Fulfs, Christine Fulfs, and Mike Fulfs; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Mark was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harry and Marie Fulfs of Sterling and John and Annaline Venema of Fulton.

The family of Mark Alan Fulfs wishes to thank the musicians and members of Calvary Lutheran and Good Shepherd Lutheran Churches for all their help and guidance.

Two memorial services will be held at churches Mark choir directed at.

The first visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Feb. 10, and the memorial service at 2 p.m. Feb. 10 at Calvary Lutheran Church in Park Rapids, Minnesota, with Pastor Steven Norby officiating.

The second visitation will be from 12:30 to
2 p.m. March 10, and the memorial service at 2 p.m. March 10 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Lena, with pastor Miho Yasukawa officiating. Private internment will be at a later date. Byron Funeral Home in Minnesota handled arrangements.
