Parrotts celebrate 50th wedding anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Parrott

Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Parrott of Wyanet celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.

Wesley Dean Parrott of Princeton and the former Jean Ann West of Wyanet were married Dec. 10, 1967, by the Rev. Lester Meisenheimer at the Bureau Township Church located north of Wyanet on the Wyanet-Walnut Road. They were attended by Carol Jean Arbuckle and John Robert Carlson.

They are the parents of two sons, Pvt. John Wesley Parrot (deceased) and Jody Gene Sullivan-Parrott of Princeton.

Wesley is the son of John Ed Parrott and Cora Lee (Hedgespeth) Parrott. Jean is the daughter of John Harold West and Velma Pearl (Allen) West.
