To the editor:

For 46 years, churches, businesses and hundreds of citizens in Downers Grove and surrounding communities have supported the FISH organization in an effort to lessen the burdens of our most vulnerable citizens. We are most grateful for that support. Thousands of people through the years have been helped because of your extraordinary generosity. At this holiday time of year, we have another special need. There are many families who have requested  help at Christmastime to help buy gifts and necessities for their children. If you are interested in our "Adopt a Family" program for the purpose of making Christmas a little brighter, please call our FISH line at 630-964-7776 and ask to speak with Pam Q. It's also possible for multiple families to adopt a family together. As always, thank you for your consideration and thoughtfulness.
