Montgomery police reports

Cited for speeding

Montgomery police cited Tyler L. Davids, 22, of the 300 block of Grapevine Trail, Oswego, with driving in excess of 31 mph over the posted speed limit on Orchard Road at Mayfield Drive Oct. 7 at 11:57 p.m. Police said Davids later posted the required bond and was released pending a court appearance.

Two hurt in Rt. 34 crash

Two motorists were injured in a two vehicle crash on Route 34 at Hill Avenue Oct. 4 at 4:15 p.m., Montgomery police reported. Police said Yoana Garcia, 26, of the 3500 block of Gatewood Lane, Aurora, and Brad Mundschenk, 62, of the 3500 block of Lake Shore Drive, Ingleside, were both transported to Rush Copley Medical Center in Aurora. Police said that Mundschenk told officers that he was stopped in traffic when Garcia's vehicle struck his in the rear.

Warrant arrest

Montgomery police said they were investigating a domestic disturbance on Sept. 29 in the 1300 block of Douglas Road when they arrested Ignacio Huerta, 22, of the 500 block of Ashland Avenue, Aurora, on two warrants out of Kane County for contempt of court and battery.

Warrant arrest

Montgomery police said they responded to the 2000 block of Orchard Road on Sept. 28 for a report of a disturbance when they arrested Jarred D. Pessina-Lester, 19, of the 1700 block of John Street, Yorkville for a warrant out of Kendall County for failure to appear in court on charges of driving while license suspended.

License violation

Montgomery police arrested Artis Thomas, 30, of the 400 block of North River Street, Aurora, after stopping his vehicle for a speeding violation on Douglas road at Montgomery Road Oct. 7 at 10:58 a.m. Police said Thomas was cited for speeding and charged with driving on a suspended license.

Montgomery man arrested

Montgomery police arrested Michael Fata, 51, of the 1700 block of Fox Meade Court, Montgomery in the 1400 block of Douglas Road Oct. 7 at 12:53 p.m. Police said officers made contact with Fata after a crime had been reported in the Douglas Road area. He was charged with violation of a court order, according to to police.
