PRINCETON — The Bureau County grand jury returned 11 indictments on Sept. 8.
Dawson E. Coughlin, 18, of Bureau was indicted the Class 2 felony of burglary. He is accused of entering into a motor vehicle of another with the intent to commit therein a theft. An officer from the Princeton Police Department testified before the grand jury. Coughlin is free from custody after posting 10 percent of his $10,000 bond.
John V. Nyegran, 54, of Cleveland, Ohio, was indicted for the Class 1 felony of unlawful possession with the intent to deliver cannabis. He is accused of possessing, with the intent to deliver, more than 2,000 grams of a substance containing cannabis. A sergeant from the Illinois State Police testified before the grand jury. Nyegran is free from custody after posting 10 percent of his $100,000 bond.
Azkan M. Syed, 23, of Hicksville, N.Y., was indicted for the Class X felony of unlawful possession with the intent to deliver cannabis. He is accused of possessing more than 5,000 grams of a substance containing cannabis. An agent from the Tri-DENT Task Force testified before the grand jury. Syed is in custody in lieu of a $250,000 bond.
Danial S. Syed, 25, of Vidalia, Ga., was indicted for the Class X felony of unlawful possession with the intent to deliver cannabis. He is accused of possessing more than 5,000 grams of a substance containing cannabis. An agent from the Tri-DENT Task Force testified before the grand jury. Syed is in custody in lieu of a $250,000 bond.
Kane L. Smith, 44, of Tucson, Ariz., was indicted for the Class X felony of unlawful possession with the intent to deliver a controlled substance (heroin). He is accused of having in his possession, with intent of deliver, more than 900 grams of a substance containing heroin. A trooper from the Illinois State Police testified before the grand jury. Smith is in custody in lieu of a $1 million bond.
Jeremy Shadle, 37, of Princeton was indicted for the Class 2 felony of unlawful delivery of a controlled substance (alprazolam). He is accused of delivering less than one gram of a substance containing alprazolam to another. An agent from the Tri-DENT Task testified before the grand jury. Shadle is in custody in lieu of $25,000 bond.
Ivy Klemencic, 19, of Bureau was indicted for the Class 2 felony of unlawful delivery of a controlled substance (methylphenidate). She is accused of delivering less than one gram of a substance containing methylphenidate to another. An agent from the Tri-DENT Task testified before the grand jury. Klemencic is free from after posting 10 percent of her $2,500 bond.
Tina Hepner, 47, of Bureau was indicted for the Class 2 felony of unlawful delivery of a controlled substance (heroin). She is accused of delivering less than one gram of a substance containing Heroin to another. An agent from the Tri-DENT Task Force testified before the grand jury. Hepner is in custody in lieu of $15,000 bond.
Tyrone Jones Jr., 34, of Chicago was indicted for the Class X felony of unlawful possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance (heroin). He is accused of having in his possession, with intent of delivering, more than 15 grams, but less than 100 grams, of a substance containing heroin. An agent from the Tri-DENT Task Force testified before the grand jury. Jones is in custody in lieu of a $300,000 bond.
Louis S. Fowler, 70, of Yuma, Ariz., was indicted for the Class X felony of unlawful possession with the intent to deliver cannabis. He is accused of possessing more than 5,000 grams of a substance containing cannabis. An agent from the Tri-DENT Task Force testified before the grand jury. Fowler is in custody in lieu of a $250,000 bond.
Nathan L. Mitro, 25, of Princeton was indicted for the Class 3 felony of failure to register as a sex offender. He is accused of knowingly failing to register with Princeton Police Department in accordance with the provisions of the Sex Offender Registration Act, by Aug. 10, as is required for his yearly registration. An officer from the Princeton Police Department testified before the grand jury. Mitro is free from custody after posting 10 percent of his $20,000 bond.
