Edward-Elmhurst opens health center in northern Elmhurst

ELMHURST – Edward-Elmhurst Health has opened a new $3.1 million health center at 755 N. York St., which is a joint venture with MedProperties Group, a medical real estate developer, according to an Edward-Elmhurst Health news release.

The center features physicians who specialize in family medicine, internal medicine, obstetrics/gynecology and gastroenterology, the release stated. The 13,000-square-foot, single-story building includes 10 exam rooms, one procedure room, an endoscopy suite and four pre-procedure/post-recovery rooms, according to the release.

The center is the new home for Elmhurst Memorial Medical Group physicians who were previously located at 429 N. York St., including Dr. Juan Perez, family medicine; Dr. Dorothy Prusek, internal medicine; Dr. Jacqueline Ross, family medicine; and Dr. Mais Trabolsi, bariatric and obesity medicine/internal medicine. In late October, Elmhurst Clinic will begin offering endoscopy services at the center, including screenings to diagnose and procedures to treat gastrointestinal conditions.
