MENDOTA – Vivian Jeanne July, 93, of Mendota, formerly of Amboy, died Saturday, July 22, 2017, at OSF St. Paul Medical Center in Mendota.

She was born May 29, 1924, in Downers Grove, the daughter of Franklin and Grace (Vivian) Dewey. She had been a member of Sublette Union Church. She married Harold M. July Jr. on July 10, 1948, in Rockford. He preceded her in death on Feb. 8, 1987.

Jeanne is survived by her children, Candi (Warren) Vine of North Aurora, Curtis (Jean) July of Surprise, Arizona, and Dean July of Pray, Montana; and one granddaughter, Kristin (Scott Tamkus) Dee.

Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, and the funeral at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Mihm-Jones Funeral Home in Amboy, with Pastor Bill Ultch officiating. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Sublette.

A memorial has been established to Pankhurst Memorial Library in Amboy.
