The Kendall County Record and First National Bank recognized 23 Yorkville High School seniors last Wednesday who were honored as the Student of the Week in the Record during the 2016-17 school year. Of those 23 students, six finalists were selected and interviewed by a panel of community leaders who then narrowed it down to one winner. Jake Eberhart was awarded a $4,000 First National Bank/Kendall County Record Student of the Year scholarship on May 3 at a reception recognizing all Students of the Week and their parents. Eberhart is pictured with other Yorkville High School Students of the Week. Selection of the scholarship winner is based on scholastic record, involvement in school activities, leadership and responsibility, ambition and citizenship.
In addition to Eberhart, honored as students of the week were Chase Aulis, Piper Buyansky,
