GLEN ELLYN – A Glen Ellyn man who is a person of interest in the suspicious death of a Batavia woman is now in custody in the DuPage County Jail on unrelated charges.

At 8 p.m. Jan. 8, Michael J. Marlovitz, 23, was taken into custody by the DuPage County Sheriff's Office without incident on unrelated charges, according to a news release from the Batavia Police Department. He was parked in a Glen Ellyn parking lot in a 2006 white Honda Pilot owned by the 21-year-old female victim, Caitlyn P. Neiswanger, the release stated.

Batavia police and fire department personnel were dispatched to a home in the 1100 block of Rye Court in Batavia at 7:52 a.m. Jan. 6 for a report of a person not breathing, according to a previous release. It stated police learned a dispute may have taken place between Neiswanger and her husband, Marlovitz, who left the house before emergency personnel arrived.

The Batavia Police Department did not have any contact with Marlovitz or the victim prior to the incident, according to the release. A Batavia police spokesman said Marlovitz was "very new to the area and basically between addresses."

According to the DuPage County Jail's website, Marlovitz is set to be transferred to the custody of Cook County upon his release from the DuPage County Jail.
