Joseph A. Castillo, 20, of the 4400 block of South Prescott Avenue, Lyons, was charged at 4:47 p.m. Aug. 4 with unlawful restraint, domestic battery and unlawful interference with the reporting of domestic violence in the 1400 block of South Wenonah Avenue.
Sex offender registration
Anthony Laudicina, 61, of the 7100 block of West Stanley Avenue, Berwyn, completed his annual sex offender registration at 10 a.m. Aug. 4 at the Berwyn Police Department, 6401 W. 31st St.
Sex offender change of address
Frank Corduan, 53, formerly of the 3300 block of South Highland Avenue, Berwyn, reported a change of address to the 3300 block of Prairie Avenue, Brookfield, at 11:48 a.m. Aug. 4 at the Berwyn Police Department, 6401 W. 31st St.
Assault
Mark Spears, 55, no listed address, was charged at 9:25 p.m. Aug. 4 with assault in the 7100 block of West Cermak Road.
Theft
• The fraudulent use of a Citibank card to withdraw $700 was reported at 6:27 p.m. Aug. 4 in the 1300 block of South Harvey Avenue.
• A bicycle was reported stolen at 6:48 p.m. Aug. 4 in the 3200 block of South Oak Park Avenue.
Warrant arrest
Andres Bahenas-Pinzon, 45, of the 100 block of Bridge Court, Bensenville, was arrested on an outstanding warrant from the DuPage County Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear for retail theft at 11:49 a.m. Aug. 4 in the 2400 block of South Harvey Avenue.
Property damage
Five incidents of graffiti were reported at 7:10 a.m. Aug. 4 at various locations in Berwyn.
BROOKFIELD
Battery
Rogelio Valdez, 62, of the 8600 block of Brookfield Avenue, Brookfield, was charged at 11:03 p.m. Aug. 8 with felony aggravated battery to a peace officer and felony aggravated resisting a peace officer in the 8600 block of Brookfield Avenue. A police officer fractured his right ankle during an alleged altercation with Valdez. The ankle required surgery to repair the fracture.
LA GRANGE PARK
Theft
A bicycle was reported stolen Aug. 4 from a storage area of an apartment complex in the 300 block of Beach Avenue.
RIVERSIDE
Harassment
An incident involving harassment was reported at 6:58 p.m. June 29 in the 300 block of Blythe Road.
Attempted burglary
An attempted burglary was reported at 10:53 a.m. July 1 at a condo in the 7300 block of Ogden Avenue.
Disturbance
• A barking dog was reported at 4:34 a.m. June 30 in the 100 block of Northgate Road.
• A party was reported at 11:02 p.m. June 30 near the 300 block of Fairbank Road.
