WARRENVILLE – The Blackwell Forest Preserve will host a free archery open house from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Aug. 6, according to a news release from the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County.
The program will include an introduction to the history and equipment of the sport as well as highlight the local range's different sections.
Equipment to the event will be provided and registration is not required. The archery range is located off of the park's Butterfield Road entrance and is open from one hour after sunrise until sunset except Wednesdays, where it opens at 10 a.m.
