Two-car crash
Two people were involved in a collision at about 7 a.m. Jan. 22 on Route 31 and Caterpillar Drive, Oswego Township, Kendall County sheriff's police said. According to reports, a car driven by Felicia M. Difiglio, 26, of the 0-99 block of West Anchor Drive, Oswego, was driving north on Route 31 when her car was struck from behind by a car driven by Luis S. Rodriguez, 21, of the 100 block of Hickory Street, Oswego.
Both vehicles spun out of control, crossed over the raised median and came to rest on the southbound shoulder of Route 31, deputies said. Rodriguez was charged with failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and following too closely, reports said. Difiglio had minor injuries but declined medical treatment, the report said.
Two-car collision
Vaughn V. Vardell, 17, of the 100 block of West Somonauk Street, Yorkville, was charged with failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident after a two-car collision at about 4:15 p.m. Jan. 20 at Fox and West Highpoint Road in Fox Township, Kendall County sheriff's police said. The driver of the second vehicle was taken to Rush-Copley Medical Center with minor injuries, the report said.
Warrant arrest
Bernard D. Schleutker, 51, of the 300 block of South Church Street, Millington, was found to be wanted on a Kendall County warrant on a charge of domestic battery at about 4:30 p.m. Jan. 21, Kendall County sheriff's police said.
DUI charge after crash
Robert A. Elson, 19, of the 900 block of West Autumn Ridge Lane, Sandwich. was charged with driving under the influence of drugs after a one-car crash at about 8:35 p.m. Jan. 21 at Blackhawk and Hale roads in Little Rock Township, Kendall County sheriff's police said. According to reports, Elson failed to negotiate a turn and struck a utility pole. Reports said Elson was found to be under the influence of drugs at the time of the crash. He also was charged with failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, and making an improper turn, the report said.
License violation
Henry R. Johnson, 31, of the 2100 block of Wolcott Road, Aurora, was charged with having no valid driver's license after a traffic stop at about 11:15 p.m. Jan. 19 at Route 34 and Ogden Falls Boulevard in Oswego Township, Kendall County sheriff's police said.
Domestic battery
Eva N. Schabb, 23, of the 100 block of Laurie Lane, Oswego, was charged with domestic battery in connection with an incident at about 7 p.m. Jan. 19, Kendall County sheriff's police said. According to reports, Schabb is accused of two counts of domestic battery with bodily harm.
Two face charges
Michael C. Deking, 25, of the 1100 block of Elliott Avenue, Aurora, was charged with unlawful possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia after an investigation into an occupied vehicle parked in the street about 4:10 a.m. Jan. 20 in the 100 block of George Lane in Oswego Township, Kendall County sheriff's police said. According to reports, a passenger in the vehicle, Daniel L. Montanez, 25, of the 2100 block of Kyla Court, Montgomery, was found to be wanted on a DuPage County warrant on a charge of failure to appear in a speeding case.
Three-car collision
Liese L. Koller, 29, of the 100 block of LaSalle Drive, Somonauk, was charged with failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident after a three-car collision at about 7:15 a.m. Jan. 21 at Wolf and Harvey roads in Oswego Township, Kendall County sheriff's police said. According to reports, Koller struck the back of a vehicle in front of her, then entered the other lane and struck a third vehicle. The driver of the first car struck was taken to Rush-Copley Medical Center in Aurora for treatment. The occupants of the other two cars were not injured, reports said.
Possession charges
Rico R. Hernandez, 22, of LaSalle, Ill., is facing charges of two counts of unlawful possession of a controlled substance, one count of unlawful possession of cannabis and one count of unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop at about 12:40 a.m. Jan. 23 at Route 71 and Sleepy Hollow Road in Fox Township, Kendall County sheriff's police said. According to reports, Hernandez was found to be driving on a suspended license and found to be in possession of a number of controlled substances. He also was charged with speeding, reports said.
DUI alcohol
Susanna L. Burns, 39, of the 2400 block of Mayfield Court, Montgomery, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol after a traffic stop at about 2:30 a.m. Jan. 24 on Minkler Road near Reservation Road in Bristol Township, Kendall County sheriff's police said. Burns also was charged with speeding and improper lane usage, reports said.
Warrant arrest
Jose M. Arias Camacho, 28, of the 0-99 block of Fieldpoint Road, Boulder Hill, was found to be wanted on a warrant at about 8:20 a.m. Jan. 24 for failure to appear on a case in Kendall County Court, Kendall County sheriff's police said.
Speeding charge
Alvaro Medina, 24, of the 300 block of Taft Drive, Oswego, was charged with speeding at about 12:45 a.m. Jan. 25 at Ridge and Plainfield roads in Na-Au-Say Township, Kendall County sheriff's police said. According to reports, Alvaro was driving 91 mph in a 55 mph zone.
License violation
Rodney L. Richardson Jr., 33, of the 100 block of Hampton Road, Montgomery, was charged with driving while his license was revoked at about 9:40 p.m. Jan. 24 at Briarcliff Road and Boulder Hill Pass in Oswego Township, Kendall County sheriff's police said.
Property damage
Michael D. Bryant, 44, of the 100 block of Harbor Drive, Oswego, was charged with criminal damage to property in connection with an incident at about 5:15 p.m. Jan. 24 in the 100 block of Harbor Drive, Kendall County sheriff's police said. According to reports, deputies were called to a report of a dispute between neighbors over borrowed tools. The victim told deputies Bryant threatened him and entered his residence without permission and caused damage to a wall forcing a door open at the residence. Bryant was charged with criminal damage to property, criminal trespass to residence and disorderly conduct, reports said.
Hit-and-run charges
Scott D. Mathre, 36, of the 7900 block of Van Emmon Road, Yorkville, was charged with failure to give information in a hit-and-run collision, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and disobeying a traffic control device after an incident at about 3:30 a.m. Jan. 24 at Griswold Springs Road and Fox River Drive in Little Rock Township, Kendall County sheriff's police said.
Warrant arrest
Yesica N. Arias Camacho, 24, of the 0-99 block of Fieldpoint Road, Boulder Hill, was found to be wanted on a Kendall County warrant for failure to appear on a court case at about 3:10 p.m. Feb. 22, Kendall County sheriff's police said.
License violation
Victor H. Mendoza-Torravala, 32, of the 1100 block of Bonner Street, Aurora, was charged with having no valid driver's license, having no vehicle insurance and driving on an expired registration after a traffic stop at about 9:40 p.m. Jan. 24 at Route 31 and East Anchor Drive in Oswego Township, Kendall County sheriff's police said.
Possession charge
Nadia L. Cardona, 19, of Elmhurst, was charged with unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia at about 10 p.m. Jan. 22 at Route 71 and Highpoint Road, Kendall County sheriff's police said. According to reports, Cardona was a passenger in the vehicle and a search revealed an item of drug paraphernalia.
Warrant arrest
Charles Canada, 30, of Melrose Park, was found to be wanted on a warrant from Cook County for failure to appear on a charge of driving on a suspended license at about 10:15 p.m. Jan. 22 in the 2600 block of Eldamain Road, Little Rock Township, Kendall County sheriff's police said. Canada also was charged with driving on a revoked license, speeding and operating an uninsured motor vehicle, reports said.
Property damage
Someone scratched a vehicle with a key between 7:55 a.m. and 4:15 p.m. Jan. 25 at a business in the 12100 block of Galena Road, Little Rock Township, the owner told Kendall County sheriff's police.
