Kimmer's Ice Cream to launch Goldfish Swim School-inspired flavor

ST. CHARLES – Goldfish Swim School in St. Charles and Kimmer's Ice Cream have announced a new collaboration. Kimmer's will be selling a new flavor – "Bubbles' Blue Bayou," beginning Friday, Jan. 15.

According to a news release, this flavor features Kimmer’s blue vanilla ice cream splashed with a teal frosting wave, loaded with sweet graham cracker Goldfish and studded with "under the sea" floral sprinkles.

Bubbles’ Blue Bayou will be available at Kimmer’s St. Charles location at 1 W. Illinois St., St. Charles, through Monday, Feb. 15.

“Goldfish Swim School and Kimmer's Ice Cream are both family-focused businesses, and I think a partnership between us will help create a stronger St. Charles connection for our customers and potentially bring our names to new families," Kimberly Elam, owner of Kimmer's Ice Cream, stated in the release. "The ice cream flavor we have developed with Goldfish is super unique and delicious. We are really excited to start scooping it in St. Charles."

“At Goldfish, we are all about family fun so we welcome the opportunity to work with a like-minded local business to create this fun new flavor and we encourage our Goldfish families to make a trip to Kimmer’s this month to give it a try,” Alex Tyler, owner of Goldfish Swim School St. Charles, stated in the release.

On Friday, Jan. 15, Kimmer's staff will be on site during the Goldfish Swim School St. Charles Family Swim from 6:30 to 8 p.m., offering free samples of the new "Bubbles' Blue Bayou" flavor. Goldfish Swim School is at 3455 Legacy Blvd., St. Charles. The event will also include an appearance by Bubbles the Goldfish, the official mascot of Goldfish Swim School.
